• Migrate to a new ZVM and recovery site
    • resiliency plan

Hello Is there anything planned in Zert0 futur releases to be able to create more complex resiliency plans, like moving VPGs after the previous ones are finished (not only after a delay) or is scripting the only solution ? Regards

    • ZVM restore options

Has anyone considered what happens if you lose the ZVM? I have been told that unless you have a recent configuration export using the Zerto Diagnostic Tool or you actually backup the exported configuration each day, you cannot recover a ZVM. There is little in terms of documentation when it comes to ZVM recoverability.  Even if […]

    • User Logs into Azure ZVM

I have implemented ZVM in Azure, it goes well. Nevertheless, we note when logging into the web client, I can access even though the user has limited permissions on the domain controller. Does anyone know why this happens? Regards,

    • Zerto to migrate VM's with RDM's

Is it possible to use zerto to migrate MS clusters in same vsphere? Have to move to new storage array, and if could use Zerto for migration that would work well. Haven’t deployed Zerto yet, but purchased licenses for 50 VM’s for DR.

    • Renaming a VM that is in a VPG

Hello,   I am setting up a VPG with VMs that I plan to rename at a later time.  Does anyone know if the VPG will need to be deleted and recreated at this point?  I would be renaming the VM in vcenter as well as it’s Windows AD computer account.   thanks

    • Migrating from EVC mode

Hello, Can anyone tell me how Zerto copes with migrating from VMware hosts with EVC mode enabled to a new VMware cluster with much newer CPU technology, but without EVC mode.  Our theory is that it will migrate the VM with the EVC-mode restrictions still in place and that the VM will only benefit from […]

    • Multiple destinations

Just a quick question concerning multiple destinations. I see that I can send from multiple sources to a consolidated recovery site. But is it possible to have a protected VM with copies being sent to two separate recovery sites?

    • Email Notifications

Hello – i’d like to send out an email notification once the failover is complete and promoted. Initially I had configured a powershell script to run post-script however this does not wait till those conditions are met. Any suggestions are welcome.
