    • Backing up VRAs

Posting this topic on behalf of Lauren.V We utilize a third-party application, Netbackup, to back up our virtual machines. We wanted to ask if this is required for our VRAs, as we did observe several backup jobs failed last night when they attempted to back up the VRAs. Thank you.

    • Recovery site is not reporting to Zerto Analytics

Hi, I have several sites that replicates VPGs to Protected site and also Protected site replicates different VPGs to the Recovery site. I have enabled Zerto Analytics on all sites. Some of them are not reporting to the Zerto Analytics due to firewall rules and that is OK, but on Protected site and Recovery site […]

    • Zerto & Cisco Hyperflex – Karmen Griggs

We are purchasing a cisco hypeflex and will have stretched esxi clusters between 2 sites. We still need to use zerto to replicate the data to a 3rd site. Is there any considerations we need to be aware of using zerto to replicate vms in a stretched cluster or on an HCI solution? I couldn’t […]

    • RDM clustering & Failover

While we were doing POC, we were faced with RDM cluster and failover. Let’s assume that there are two hosts clustered by RDM(using pacemaker for Linux) for DB server. Plus, one more host for replicate and failover (not storage, just a normal server) If so, target host will get VMDK file during replicating RDM clustered […]

    • Perform file copy with post-recovery script CentOS

Hello, we are trying to automate the replacement of a hosts file on a Linux server after a move to a different datacenter with Zerto. We would like to run a cp command (unless there’s a better way) and overwrite the existing hosts file with one stored in a site-specific subfolder so that the correct […]

    • Zerto Help after vCenter repair

Hello, The agency I support recently ran into a known issue with vCenter 6.0 that required us to repair/rebuild the vCenter by deleting it all together and starting from scratch. I was unaware how much this would effect the Zerto Replications at the agencies. To make things worse, I made the decision to use the […]
