    • HTTPS SSL cert for the ZVM web app

Hello. I’d like to install a valid HTTPS cert so that we don’t get the cert warning when using the ZVM web app. Do I simply follow the instructions shown on this page to replace the default cert on the ZVM? https://www.zrto-dev.com/myzerto/knowledge-base/how-to-use-a-cer-ssl-certificate-to-replace-the-self-signed-certificate-for-the-zvm-zssp-or-zcm/ I’m not looking to change anything with regards to the certs being used […]

    • ZVM OS Upgrade / Move to new Server OS

I have a client that needs to move  their ZVM from Win2008R2 to win2016.  With 35 VPGs and around 150 VMs, the method documented in the KB article is quite cumbersome. Deleting all the VPGs and then recovering them on the new ZVM is sketchy at best, let alone it leaves the client unprotected until […]

    • At what point does the physical write happens

Posting on behalf of David H.   At what point does the physical write to the replication sight happen during normal operations? Your VPG/VM’s are running normally; a change happens to any VM in the VPG, at what point does that change become written to the replicated sight?

    • Zerto and Azure

Posting this post on behalf of Jason.A I have been reading through the Zerto Virtual Manager Azure Administration Guide and I see we can use Zerto to replicate from a protected site Azure to a recovery site vCenter, but was wondering if you can replicate from a protected site vCenter to a recovery site Azure? […]

    • MS SQL HA – Clustered

Dear Support, We have had a client who will be configuring 10 SQL server, 5 VM(s) within two cluster nodes on VMware. Is there any limitation from Zerto perspective (assuming not) or would do you possibly have best practice documentation for SQL HA setup as I can’t seem to find any KB within Zerto’s Knowledge […]

    • Question on vVol Supportability

I was looking through the Zerto Interoperability Matrix and noticed that vVols are not supported. Can you clarify what that means? Can’t replicate a VM that is on a vVol? Or, can’t use a vVol as a replication target? Both? Thank you!
