Specific alerts from zerto GUI to email
in: Support Q & A
Posting on behalf of Andy H. I would like to know if it’s possible to filter alerts that are sent from ZVM GUI to an email. Or if there is another way of sending specific alerts to an email?

WAN Planner tool
in: General Discussion
Does Zerto have a WAN planner tool that allows input or shows results of items such as RPO and latency on the WAN connection? I feel the current tool does not take those into consideration. It tells you what bandwidth you need but not what your “estimate” RPO could be.

Planned Move Operation Question
in: Support Q & A
We are planning to move an existing VM from one datastore to another datastore within the same vcenter instance. The datastores are geographically separated. My question is: During a move operation, does Zerto use the existing replica disks at the targeted recovery location to create/move the VM? Or would it copy the replica disks and […]

Azure VM Status
in: Microsoft Azure
Regarding Azure VM status, what status does Zerto recognize? Can a “Stopped (deallocated)” VM be replicated? Any of the other status codes? Trying to clone a VM so we can test replication, but don’t want the VM to connect to the network due to name/ip conflicts.

Network Questions from the VRA’s
in: Support Q & A
Question about how the VRA’s handle the WAN replication from each protected VM. Does each VM protected have it’s own TCP stream to the target VRA? Are the changes from multiple VM’s bundled?

Horribly slow API responses
in: Scripting and APIs
7.0 U2 VMware I’m running scripts on the ZVM itself. Just the authentication part to get the Zerto Session Token can take 30+ seconds. I’ve tried both powershell and PHP and they both experience the same lag. I’ve tried from a different server and the result is the same; the API acts like I’m sending […]

c5.xxxxxx instance types not available
in: AWS
Setting up DR with Zerto 7.0 from Hyper-V to AWS, my customer wants an instance of c5.large and there are no c5.xxxxxx instances available, the closest being c4.large. This seems to be the same with m5.xxxxxx type instances as well where the closest is m4.xxxxxx.
