• Can one single VM be replicated to multiple VPGs?
    • Excluding drives from replication

So we have a very large SQL server and we want to the server replicated, but do not require the entire DB drive (its ~ 8 TB) at the DR site.  If a DR event ever occurred, we would just add the empty drive to match the drive letter in production and the staff would […]

    • volume being added during failover?

I am working on a POC using Zerto to migrate Windows virtual machines from a VMWare on prem environment to Azure. I am running into a couple of issues with volumes that I was wondering if anyone has seen. The first issue is a new volume called “temporary Storage” mounted as drive d: that is […]

    • Zerto Journal data move

I was curious what would happen if I decided to move my Journal datastore location. Currently the every thing is pointing the same datastore and I am considering breaking it out. Would it just move the journal data to the new location? Thanks.

    • RDM access after failover

Has anyone had any issues with RDM’s after a failover?  We replicate a VM with its source RMD’s landing at secondary location as vmdk’s.  Failover went fine.  But, the application that uses the RDM’s(now vmdk’s) wouldn’t work with the vmdk’s.  We are in contact with the application vendor but I was checking to see if […]

    • Managing Retention Sets

I’m using the Manage Retention Sets option to remove older retention sets in version 8.5.   I’m utilizing an Exagrid NFS share for the retention sets.   My Exagrid retention zone was 100 percent full and the landing zone was about 11 percent occupied, hence the need to reduce the number of retention sets.  I deleted 36 […]

    • change VRA network switch

Dear support, is it possible to change the virtual switch for a VRA? In vCenter, you should not change VRAs, but over Zerto management console it´s only possible to set the virtual switch which should be uses for VRA during installation of the VRA. Once the VRA is setup and you want to edit it, […]

Hi! We need to upgrade our Zerto 6.5 installation to 7.5. It’s running on VMware, and have a lot of Ms SQL Servers running. Do we need to install the VSS Agent on all server running MSSQL to get consistency in our databases? So far we haven’t used the VSS agent, and have not experienced […]
