Open-vm-tools
in: Support Q & A
Earlier versions of Zerto did not support open-vm-tools in vmware, so VM’s using that would not re-ip during failover. As a work around we would remove open-vm-tools and instead install vm tools. Just a simple question, is this still the case? Does Zerto still not support open-vm-tools in VMware

Question on ZVRA build + move
in: Support Q & A
We’ve recently added a new vmware host to our cluster and am getting ready to install a new z-vra and have a question about best practices and/or how other admins build their systems. Specifically, is it better to put your z-vra’s on their own volumes separate from the vpg data? Or doesn’t it really matter? […]

Quesiton about DisableCrossReplicationMonitor twea
in: Support Q & A
We are looking into disabling the alert about the Microsoft Default SAN policy, as outlined in the Zerto article here: https://www.zrto-dev.com/myzerto/knowledge-base/how-to-silence-vpg0043-error-the-microsoft-default-san-policy/ I just want to confirm that applying the tweak, “t_DisableCrossReplicationMonitor=1 “, only affects this specific alert. Does the “CrossReplicationMonitor” monitor anything else besides the possibility of the Microsoft Default SAN Policy causing disks to […]
