Hello
Now that vCloud Director 8 has been released, will Zerto be supporting is for service providers using it with Zerto to provide DRaaS? If so, is running vCD8 with vSphere 6 underneath supported?

The latest supported version of VCD is 8.0.1 per the Interoperability Matrix. http://s3.amazonaws.com/zertodownload_docs/Latest/Zerto%20Virtual%20Replication%20Operability%20Matrix.pdf
Senior Technical Architect at ZertoXerex BAugust 17, 2016 01:17:08 AMAs of now VCD 8.0.1 w/NSX is supported and working great. They were going to release support for VCD 8.1 in the 4.5 U3 however there is a VMware issue that Zerto is working on to resolve.

The latest version of Zerto Virtual Replication, 4.5 Update 3, does not support vCloud Director (vCD) version 8.10.
The root cause behind this incompatibility is a VMware issue – “Creating or modifying a VM in vCD fails (VMware KB 2144385)”.
The full VMware KB is located here:
https://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=2144385
Due to the above mentioned VMware issue, Zerto is prevented from recovering into a vCD environment.Zerto is actively working toward a workaround for this issue.
Having said that, we cannot commit a date or specific update/version as for now.Matt WOctober 3, 2016 11:48:27 AMWe are in the final stages of purchasing Zerto for our vCD 8.1 install.
Is this issue a “it works but is not supported”, or will it not work at all. Is there a known workaround?
VMWare seems to have pulled that specific KB article.
Bryan ROctober 6, 2016 05:52:40 PMVMware has a ‘hotfix’ which fixes the issue with vCD 8.10. You must request it from Vmware support and note the KB article for them to work with. They release from engineering. You must be on Zerto 4.5U3.

David RDecember 7, 2016 07:31:45 AMHi,
VCD 8.10.1 is out, but no fix for a clone problem in the release notes :
http://pubs.vmware.com/Release_Notes/en/vcd/8-10/rel_notes_vcloud_director_8-10-1.html
To the zerto team, can you clarify the status of Zerto 5.0 compatibility regarding this new VCD build?
Thanks
David RDecember 7, 2016 07:55:10 PMAllright, I think we have the answer :
