    • Azure to VMware Migration

Are you able to migrate servers which are on a “premium performance” storage account from Azure back on-premise? If so, how do you go about it, we have a ZCA which is premium SSD disks and are unable to see any of the storage accounts which are on “premium performance”  All storage accounts are GPV1

    • Migration from on prem to Azure

I’m at a new job, and have been tasked with using Zerto to migrate some servers into Azure. I’ve never used Zerto so I have some questions.. We currently use Zerto for DR between two sites in vmware. What kind of licensing would we need in order to do this? Any tips or gotchas that […]

hi guys Windows 2003 R2 x32 bits to Azure Loads OK but I get no ping or RDP response …. firewall is completely OK, Zerto failovers it without any issue and I see the Windows login there waiting to be connected but no ping from another VM in the same segment where all other VMs […]

    • Azure cloud replicaiton

This is going to sound like a stupid newbie question.  That is because it is.  We have an Azure cloud service with VMs and would like to look at a Disaster Recovery solution.  We use Zerto now within our VMWare environment now.  Can I create a new Azure site and use Zerto to replicate from […]

    • Anyone using Gemalto with VMWare and Azure?

My setup is I have my own datacenter running VMWare. I’m moving to get rid of my DR datacenter, and use Azure as my DR site. Everything is setup and working properly with generic Windows VM’s in VMWare, I replicate to Azure, and I can failover and failback with any issues. I’m using Gemalto to […]

    • Isolated failover network for testing?

Greeting.   We’ve had Zerto support looking at this, and Azure consultants, and we’re still baffled.  We have an issue with all servers in TEST mode registering themselves with internal DNS. We created a /24 subnet for the Failover and Test environment, and then created two subnets /25 within that space.  We’re using a private scheme […]

    • VM encryption in Azure

Hi, Does anyone know there are any possibility to encrypt VM when replicating On-Premise VMs to Azure for data protection requirement?  It means production VMs is Non-Encrypted on premise but when replicated to Azure, the VMs can be encrypted. Or will have technical issue if On-Premise VMs is encrypted and running Zerto to replicate encrypted VMs […]

    • User Logs into Azure ZVM

I have implemented ZVM in Azure, it goes well. Nevertheless, we note when logging into the web client, I can access even though the user has limited permissions on the domain controller. Does anyone know why this happens? Regards,

    • Intra-region Azure to Azure

I’m not sure what others are thinking about right now, but I’m really looking forward to testing the BCP/DR capabilities between Azure Regions in the coming BETA for the next release of Zerto Virtual Replication for Public Cloud DR. This additional new capability that Zerto are introducing, from my perspective, is something I can see […]

    • High RTO Recovering to Azure with Big Servers

Hello, We’re seeing some really high RTO values when running a failover test into Azure (and I assume a failover/move would see the same) with our larger servers.  I know I’ve experienced even smaller servers being slower to come up into Azure than vCenter so I expected a bit of a difference, but for a […]

    • Replicating Windows 2003 VMs to Azure

Hi, does anybody now if it is possible (not necessary supported) to replicate VMWare VMs with Windows 2003 (32bit and 64bit) to Azure? As long as Windows 2003 is no longer supported generally the support Matrix from Zerto is difficult to interpret 😉 **** Zerto Virtual Replication supports replication of any virtual machine whose operating […]
